Unique, Quality Content - Plus!

Unique, relevant content is an important component of your website in attracting and retaining visitors, but content alone is not sufficient.

I have seen some research that purports to show that the longer the time that visitors remain at your site, and the greater the level of engagement, or interaction, with your site, the greater chance you have of gaining them as a regular visitor, or a subscriber for your email list.

Of course content is important for this, but that is way too much a simplification of the issues that you need to consider when developing your website.

To maximize engagement from your site visitors, as well as good quality content, you also need effective information design and efficient website navigation, relevant opportunities for interaction, and other appropriate website features that might increase your visitors’ likelihood of staying longer at your site and returning regularly.

Follow the series of articles here at ContentChief.com where we will cover all of these website design issues.
